Massage Therapy and Myofacial Release

Benefits of massage

Massage is a great way to treat pain and discomfort and reduce stress through endorphin release. Sessions are tailored to the client’s needs or preferences. Techniques from a range of massage approaches are used, depending on client goals and individual body assessments.

Myofacial Release

Myofascial release is a soft tissue treatment, with more focus on the fascial and connective tissues which surround and support the muscle. The fascial system acts as scaffolding throughout our tissues and organs, supporting and connecting every cell in the body. When the fascia is impacted by injury or stress, it becomes tight and restricted. Postural patterns can create movement restrictions, which lead to pain and discomfort. Treatment encourages the freeing and repositioning of the fascial fabric, restoring postural balance and mobility, and easing tension in the muscles.
